The celebration of Palm Sunday this weekend begins Holy Week.
All around the world next week we see the faithful in prayer and penance in remembrance of the Passion of the Lord. The Passion which inspired many saints, like St. Gerard.
Jesus taught us that even in suffering, we can continue to give. In his agony, Jesus gave us His Mother, "Behold, thy Mother". Let us also remember one of Jesus's last words on the cross, "I thirst". He thirsts for us, for our love until the end of time.
May we also share fervently in celebrating our Lord and His Mother like the faithful in the south of Spain.
