PEW RACKS

We are purchasing new wood pew racks to replace the plastic ones that are now in the pews. They should be arriving in 6 weeks. The cost for each rack is $40.00, we need 200. If you would like to make a donation to help defray the cost, please call Maria in the rectory.

 

FIRST COMMUNION                                  

The final rehearsal will be Tuesday May 7th from 3:30 - 4:30pm. Our first communion students will receive the sacrament of First Holy Communion on Sunday May 12th at 12:30pm .

 

 

GUARD OF HONOR   

The Guard of Honor meeting will be Thursday night May 16th at 7:30pm in the rectory basement.

 

CONFIRMATION   

Over 200 students received Confirmation on Saturday May 4th. We  would like to thank    everyone that participated and made the  Confirmation sacrament celebration a beautiful and successful one. Without the students, sponsors, families and catechist teachers, this would not have been possible.   

 

MAY CROWNING

On Sunday May 19th, at the 11:00am mass we will have our beautiful tradition of  the Crowning of the Blessed Mother.

 

ATTENTION ADORERS

There will be a special meeting on Wednesday May 8th at 6:00pm in the rectory basement. Please attend this important meeting.

MONTHLY 50/50

The monthly 50/50 tickets are available in the         St. Gerard Chapel. You may also obtain tickets in the rectory Monday through Friday 9am to 4pm . The winner of the April raffle was Donna Maria Bruno,  # 0546 , $ 467.50.      

 

OUR LADY OF FATIMA

We will be celebrating the 26th Annual Candlelight Procession in Honor of Our Lady of Fatima in the Plaza, on Wednesday May 15th at 7:30pm. We will have cake and coffee in the rectory basement        following the procession. Everyone is welcome.

 

PENTECOST SUNDAY

St. Lucy is a parish without borders. From the beginning of the parish, Italian immigrants opened their arms and embraced all new groups of immigrants. On Sunday, May 19th at the 12:30pm mass we will celebrate the diversity and plurality of cultures      present in our parish.
