The present system of air conditioning is built in such a way that one unit serves both the church & community center. When the church is using it the community center cannot.
Since we have a tenant in the community center, we must provide them and us with air conditioning at the same time. In order to do this we must purchase a new system for the church. This will cost us approximately $100,000.00 and must be completed by June 2014.
We ask that anyone who would like to make a donation for this specific project, see a Guard of Honor Member or contact the rectory.
Fr. Luigi has invited Archbishop Bernard Hebda to be the main celebrant at the 5:30pm mass, which is the Feast of St. Lucy. After the mass we will go into the plaza to light the outside presepio and sing a few Christmas Carols. All parishioners are welcome to come to this very special mass. At 7:30pm there will be a concert sponsored by The Italian Tribune, featuring Micheal Castaldo and John J. Cali School of Music Strings. Tickets are $25.00, and can be purchased by calling the rectory Monday to Friday 9am to 4:30pm.

SURVEY ON FAMILY
In response to the Holy Father’s recent call on the laity to help bishops from around the world prepare for an Extraordinary Synod on the Family in October, the Archdiocese has prepared an online survey asking for your opinions & thoughts on a range of topics dealing with the challenges to the family in the contact of evangelization. We encourage you to visit the archdiocesan website - www.rcan.org - to take the survey, and add your voice to the many from around the world. You can do so until December 15th.
